Training #1: Post-op pain blocks - Learn the new codes for full reimbursement
New post-op pain blocks are on their way. Next year, anesthesia providers will report transversus abdominis plane (TAP) blocks with one of four codes depending on whether the service is performed by injection or continuous infusion and unilaterally or bilaterally.
In this first session, learn how to properly report the new services and gain additional guidance as directed by the AMA and Medicare to ensure the utmost accuracy. You’ll also benefit from a refresher of post-op pain block billing rules to know where these services fit in Medicare’s Correct Coding Initiative.
Training #2: Pain management – Discover new procedure changes to optimize revenue and code accurately
Pain management practices are in for an overhaul coming in 2015. From Medicare changes including drug testing, epidural injections, PQRS and modifier X codes to a bevy of revised procedures including joint injections, spinal cord stimulator analysis and drug screens. In this final session, get a global view of what you can expect and equip your practice with all the tools it needs to start the year off right.
